Let Every Orphan Experience God’s Unfailing Love

The Christian Alliance for Orphans unites more than 80 respected Christian organizations and a national network of churches.  Working together, our joint initiatives inspire, equip and connect Christians to “defend the cause of the fatherless” in adoption, foster care and global orphan care.  Through the annual Summit, the Orphan Sunday campaign and an array of other initiatives, we seek to help grow communities in the local church known for “defending the cause of the fatherless” (Isaiah 1:17).

I know I’ve talked about this before but I think this conference is so amazing. If you’re thinking about adopting, in the process of adopting or just care about the cause of orphans this is a MUST. I wish I could go again this year. I know I’ll attend again in the future. If you can, you should definitely go.

You can look at the details on the website here. Karyn Purvis who helped to write the book The Connected Child (which I’m reading right now) is going to be there to lead some of the seminars. I could sit and listen to her for hours. Her knowledge is incredible and I learned more about bonding, attachment, trauma, and just being a better parent from her than I ever expected to in a few short hours. The book is also totally worth the read.
