Kids + Developing Good Character = 8 pm Bedtime

It can be exhausting trying to help your children develop good character. But you know what’s even more exhausting? Being around adults who have terrible character.

It takes far less energy to teach our children now, than to pay for the consequences later. So today I will love, teach, and do my best, praying that as they become adults it helps them to be mature, healthy adults. I know there are no guarantees. We can be the best parents ever and children can choose to go in terrible directions. However, I believe it’s worth it now. I have great kids and they are worth it.

I claim this verse today:
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will no turn from it.
Prov. 22:6

But on that note, it’s 8:00 pm, I’m tired and I’m headed to bed.
